The Beginning and an End

Seasonality is a feature that characterises the existences of all things. The reason for this is better known to the master of all creations, Yahweh. Humans, plants and animals all exist for limited times; occupy some positions for certain reasons; authorise their views to accomplish one goal or the other; and execute certain ideas when they are alive and in the positions to do such. The end of everything is a signifier that nothing lasts forever; only God reigns for eternity.

The White House

When Donald Trump accepted and celebrated the announcement of his victory to be the 45th president of the United States of America in November 2016, I realized that, as a man, he lacks integrity and self-principle. Why? A man of principle and moral stand does not eat whatever he condemns. Before the election, he condemned, dented, mocked, defamed, undermined and stigmatized the constitutional electoral college system, which had been in practice for decades before he was born. In his view, popular votes should be the only yardstick for determining a winner of every presidential election in the United States. At the end of the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote with 65,853,514 ballots (48.2% of the total votes = 227 electoral votes) while he was favoured by the electoral college system that turned 62,984,828 ballots to 304 electoral votes (46.1% of the total votes). Without any ado, Trump became happier than his supporters and ate the faeces he had condemned for months just to be a president. Without any surprise, his four years in the White was full of storms and tornadoes. The hammer of his policy fell mainly on everything related to Barack Obama. His philosophy of White supremacy eliminated the fact that the Republicans were more pro-African than the Democrats before recent time.

Today January 2021 marks the end of his presidency and an end to the four-year storms created by someone who inherited more than 413 million in USD from his father. In the news report of the Associated Press on October 3, 2018, titled ‘NY Times: Trump got $413M from his dad, much from tax dodges,’ it was revealed  that “...Donald Trump received at least $413 million from his father over the decades, much of that through dubious tax dodges, including outright fraud” (see https://apnews.com/article/0452d29cd2564eaf97605ab90acc3a67). As a person, wouldn’t you be richer than Donald if your inheritance is at least 100 million USD twenty years ago?

The storms and the sackings of cabinet members on Twitter are now over in the White House. The blockage of immigrants by a president whose generations and race are immigrants have come to a relative close. What the outcomes of Joe Biden administration would bring still swings like a pendulum. So many speculations surround the future. In all, one thing is certain, the cliché “make America great again” would be theoretically put to rest for some time and Trumpism would not be the basis for racial attacks and killings of the African-Americans, at least for some time, if not forever.

  3. Lack of intelligence and the zeal to always command people were errors that led to the fall of the number noisemaking man who once occupied the White House as a president.
